Next years recruiting class prob more important than this years win total.
Next Year U confirmed.
Can I just get someone to confirm:
"I would rather go 9-3 with Ed O, than 9-3 with Les Miles. That's why I support Ed."
I mean, because that's the line of thinking.
ETA: Also, pumping "Next Year's Recruiting class is more important, Let's wait and see!" Is basically saying "We can't critique O for three years until next year's recruiting class are sophomores." Ludicrous.

its worse.there are posters that bashed Miles for 3 loss seasons but are perfectly fine with 4 loss seasons under O.

Are you really comparing a one loss season in the national championship game to anything O has ever done?

thanks for proving my point. youre shitting on a 1 loss sec title season with our 1st undefeated sec season in over a half century but youre ok with 4 losses in 2017.
pathetic

what 2018-19 record would make you admit O isnt the right coach?
If you ever want to make Ree leave a thread, ask this question.

you guys do not know how next season will turn out so shut up with the O bashing until the outcome. if he does not perform then he will be fired. if he succeeds then he will remain. its that simple. we don't need the O hating comments right now.

stating objective facts about O isnt bashing. its called reality. its shocking how many people on here have a problem with posting O's resume
quote:
if he does not perform
he already didnt perform in a season he said was a playoff season. why would you be ok with prolonging it?

stating facts isnt hating.
and paying $850,000 to get man handled by a mid major for homecoming does infinitely more damage to our program than some anonymous message board poster.

I just can’t wrap my head around how some people have so much loyalty to a coach who has accomplished literally nothing.

im like you ...
im gonna keep asking him.
him not answering just proves he cares more about O than lsu. he cant imagine a scenario where he doesnt think O is the right coach for lsu.

Some people just can't accept the reality that some coaches, even though they wear purple and gold, aren't good. They're blinded.

and losing the Florida game in 2016 shouldve killed any hope of O getting the job.
lost,at home,to a 14 point underdog that was missing tons of defensive starters. thats sounds just like the last few years of the coach we fired. why do it again.
we fired an elite recruiter and great motivator with questionable gameday coaching to hire a worse recruiter and worse motivator with even worse gameday coaching.

If you read this thread (or any other), you'd see there are very few "hating" or "bashing" comments. Concerns about the current state of the program aren't without reason.
Saying nine wins is acceptable, or lashing out at the doubters and telling them to shut up actually makes the Orgeron fanatics look just as concerned.

Especially when "the story" is a weak one. We aren't talking about some LSU player legend who had some rough breaks in his coaching career, but found some scant success and has a chance to turn it around at LSU after some abysmal seasons or rescuing LSU from bad seasons *coughJohnnyJonescough*
We're talking about a guy who didn't graduate or play at LSU, who recruited against LSU heavily, who for all we know never liked LSU and has a heart that will always be at USC per his quote, who coached at a rival and was terrible at that job and was the worst coach they ever had, who followed a national championship winning coach at LSU who, while successful, was on a slight downward trend. And that LSU coach's worst season as 8-5.
This isn't some comeback story. It isn't some LSU legend. It's essentially a non-story and the way people are backing it like some kind of epic comeback is just nuts.
