Question to the Fans Who Complained About JD Coming Back Resulting in Howard Transferring:

Are y'all still mad?
We had many posts on here bitching during that week. If I recall many laughed at the opinion that JD could possibly be a top 20 guy in the Heisman Race.
Obviously, you never want to lose a home grown, talented, legacy player. Ever.
Obviously, JD still needs to do it on the field. I know it's preseason and preseason opinions just means they haven't done it yet.
I'm just wondering if:
Now that literally everyone in the media is gushing over him.
Now that he's literally #2 in the Heisman Odds according to BetMGM.
That Maybe....Just Maybe.....
Some of you frickers can admit that Jayden Daniels coming back is a net positive for LSU...
I know ya'll won't and will be the first ones here beating your chest and saying "I told ya so" when he throws his 4th Interception in an LSU Uniform.
I can't wait to see this kid ball out.

While I agree that it is good that Daniels returned it is a bit premature to start crowing about this just yet.

I don't even remember where Howard transferred to. He never did anything here and I'm guessing we won't hear much of him doing anything anywhere else either.

I disagree. JD already has showed to be good at this level. Walker has done nothing to make me feel any way. Guys like him with “no chest” don’t usually pan out.

Went from third string at LSU to 3rd string at Ole Miss. Not sure why he even bothered.

Ole Miss. He didn't want to be 3rd String Here and instead chose to be 3rd String in Oxford.
Hope for the best for the kid but the rationale has never made sense.

Yeah can't see that working out for him. Wouldn't be surprised if he transfers again.

He’s got usl written all over him. Ole Miss signed another QB this cycle.
Oh well
Oh well

Seems logical
Also applies to the people melting about Howard leaving when he hasn’t done anything

Agreed. I was disappointed but who knows what he will do.

Exactly. I’ve never seen people so mad that a returning starter was coming back.

I’m pro JD. Wanted him to stay. Wanted him to be the starter over Nuss and Howard. But I was disappointed when Howard left and I still wish Howard was here. Don’t know what else to tell you ma baw

It was more about depth no? Jd gonna be fiyah. If he goes down nuss is ready to sling it. Lets go with or without howard

Good post. Just commenting on the meltdown that many here had when a returning starter that won 10 games decided to come back for another year.

I said the exact same thing earlier this year. It's truly bizarre.

As mentioned to those idiots at the time, he was never leaving because of Daniels, he left because he didn’t want to be behind Nuss for 3 more years.
And all those people who said “but he needs muh backup reps so it’s Daniels fault for not leaving and staying as the starter”
He’s still going to be third string at Ole Miss.

Maybe, just Maybe he was recruited by a different coaching staff and was promised things that the new staff didn't think was just a given. Also the new staff brings in a experience player vs giving the rein to a "rookie" when the new staff is being paid 9.9 million a year and is expected to win games not babysit freshman.

I think all of Tiger Nation hated to see Walker Howard leave. But he did. Good luck except against LSU.

Nuss will be gone and possibly be a first round pick after next season(2024 season morons) I believe in his abilities and his desire to be great. Nuss also made the correct decision in sitting out that bowl game. He did himself and this program a huge thing by sitting out. Is anyone still bitching about that correct decision?
