I currently have season tickets in Section 406 which looks directly down the field. I am considering relocating my season tickets to Section 408 or 409.

Sections 408 and 409 are in the southwest corner of SEZ. it appears that if you are sitting squarely in your seat then you will be looking directly across to the southeast corner. Do you have to sit sideways or twist your body in a fairly uncomfortable position to see most of the field? I know some baseball stadiums angle their seats toward the action so you don't have to twist your body or sit sideways.

I would hate to relocate my seats and find this out later.

Thanks.

You just shift your eyes/head slightly to the left to see the NEZ.

I have tickets in 408. You look comfortably straight ahead.

I've had tickets in 408, technically since the 60's (grandfather had them, took me to games growing up, handed them over to me when he got too old to go). I have a somewhat biased opinion for nostalgic reasons, but I do love our seats. Here are what I see as the pros/cons:

Pros
1. Awesome view from about the 25-30 yard line through the south end zone
2. Our seats are close to the exit ramp and in the lower bowl, which means that we can get to our seats from the gate in less than 5 minutes, we can get out after the game really easily, and it's easy to get to and from the restrooms and concessions (although not as worried about the latter since Aramark took over)
3. Lower TAF fees. 6 seats over to our left (toward midfield) the TAF fees jump significantly.
4. To your question re: the view, we are directly in line with the screen in the SE corner, so when the action is on the other end of the field, we're really watching that more than we are the field. We don't really get any neck strain

Cons
1. From the 35-40 yd line to the North end zone, depth perception is thrown off a bit because of the angle. You'e watching the action on the monitor a good bit at that point
2. Bleachers vs seats, but you can get the seats added for the season. It's the same story with where you are currently, so that really doesn't matter

I sit in 211 which is the opposite side/end. The seats point straight ahead since they're bleachers but I've never even thought about their position. Yes you will have to turn your head slightly. Unless you've had back fusion and physically can't turn your head, I doubt you'll even notice.

You should really try to move to the upper section so you get a better perspective on the field. Bit more of a walk to your seats though and will take more time to leave the stadium.

I personally want to sit straight away in the end zone so I can see holes open for the running game and receivers running their routes. I would never move more towards the side line.

End zone seats are the best for viewing. And cheapest.

Thanks for the comments....keep them coming.

Yes there are pros and cons between looking straight down field or being in the corner.
We do rent the seatbacks.....I just didn't know how much you had to twist your torso to see down toward the opposite end of the field if sitting in the corner. And there is a $50 increase between Section 406 and Sections 408 and 409. It would be worth if the view is better but not so if you have a neck strain.

There are 4 of us and they put in charge in deciding where to relocate. I just didn't want to hear the bitching....which they shouldn't if they asked me to be in charge.

Otherwise, loved the seats

I sit n the same section. This is my only complaint. There is no twisting in seats. If we are first and goal in the north ez I might watch the screen. Here’s the main thing. Except for big plays, what often seems like a small gain is really a 6 yard pickup. From the south 35 to the goal line, no problem. First and goal in the south ez - best seat in the house. I watch a replay of the game after I get home due to the angle issue. I often see a “different game”. We look better than what nsaw in the Stadium

I'm a former GBFTL Drummer. We used to open every practice on the field in the standard concert formation. Drums were in the front center position. Before actual practice began, the GG's were right in front of the drum section. They would bend and stretch in every imaginable position (Wearing their tight little form fitting GG shorts) and were totally oblivious that we could see it all (If you know what I mean) at every stretch and bend! Oh boy did we have some up close and personal grand GG views!

One appealing reason to move to Section 408 or 409 from Section 406 is to get in the shade sooner on those hot afternoon games.
