I agree. I really hope the refs call it straight. If the whistle is the factor, and Dickensen is allowed to bully our bigs, we are in trouble. If the calls go against him, I feel like we become the favorite and should win.

If I were an LSU fan, I would want more fouls called. Dickinson is amazing in the paint. That's a no factor when he gets into trouble foul.

It can go both ways. We have little offense behind our main 4. If Watford and Days get in foul trouble guarding Dickinson we are in trouble

I was going to ask how we defend Dickerson and if Gray gets some minutes, but I like the point you made about the mismatch we have with Dickerson on the other side of the court. I can't imagine they put him on Days, so he's stuck guarding Watford. We need to clear out and feed Watford early and often and let him take Dickerson off the dribble.

LSU's best defense against him will have to be their offense because LSU's "4" (Days) is a face up shooter rather than a back to the basket post presence. LSU is going to spread the floor and try to create driving lanes for Thomas, Watford and Smart.
However, LSU doesn't have anyone to guard Dickson inside. If he is killing LSU in the post I fully expect Gray to get minutes. If nothing else he is a massive dude who could at least provide some resistance. The reason he doesn't play more is because his lack of an outside game and sheer size clogs up the spacing LSU wants on offense. Still, I suspect there will be some points in this game (hopefully brief) that Wade is going to have to trade offense for defense

Darius Days said in an interview that Josh Gray is going to get minutes and he’s excited for him and hopeful that he plays well. I don’t love it...but if there was ever a game for Gray it’s probably this one

Yep and we need a good game from whoever our 5th guy ends up being. Probably hyatt but the more stuff I see on the game and interviews keep hinting Josh gray playing a good bit.
