Les isn't naming a starter because they're both going to be starters.

It's a stated fact that neither QB has really distanced themselves from the other.

Sure, Harris may get more reps with the first team, but I can guarantee you that AJ will be in on 3'd downs and special short yardage situations.

The reason he hasn't named a QB is twofold. One, because they're both going to be playing every game. and Two, he thinks he's bluffing a weak hand.

If Harris was a prodigy, and we had 4 NFL receivers and 2 Heisman RB's on Offense, he would simply name Harris the starter and tell other SEC Defenses - "Good luck stopping us".

All signs point to QB play being average this year. Get ready for another maddening season where QB talk floods the board with morons like me.

As a side note. Can we get a season long sticky thread just for the QB position? Getting kind of tired of every tom dick and harry like me chiming in with their 2 cents every 10 minutes.

why?

Not a better passer, not a significant'y better athlete.

if he was 250 I would get short yardage

If LSU had average QB play last year they would have won it all.

if this were the case they would be splitting snaps with the 1st team in practice

True, but the season starts next week, and while he's the "leader" he's not deemed "the starter".

Sure, he'll trot out on the field first, take probably the first series as a reward for not getting arrested this summer.

If he were "our guy" there would be no question. I can guarantee you that he won't see every snap from the QB position in every game this year.

It's BH's job to lose. He won't lose, because he's a MFing baller and he's about to ball the F out.

End of story.

I like how you're trying to revise what you said now to fit your bullshite prediction.

The notion that Jennings is "Les's guy" has been thoroughly debunked. And now that Les named him the clear leader you and people like you look like dumbasses.

Just take your lumps and be better in the future.

With what are you backing up that guarantee? If he doesn't, will you never post again? You're guarantee means little if you have nothing behind it.

Really going out on limb there.

A 2qb system implies they both play series interchanging from the beginning of each game.
Steve Spurrier style.

That's not what les does or what he gonna do in any realm of possibility.

Les wants one guy. Yes they may both play but he's not interchanging them. He's looking for someone to stick. Both guys may start but it's only until les settles on somebody like he did with aj last year. Harris never saw the field afterwards.

There is no fricking way we will have a two qb system.

I was so sick of hearing this bullshite line last year and I'm sick of hearing it already this year and I think this is the first time I've actually seen it. Les is paid $4 million per year to win games. He will do whatever he thinks is necessary to win THIS year. Not next year or the next year. The preparing for the future line is total bullshite.

Sorry. I'm done now.
