There is an ICU bed shortage not because of a shortage of beds, because of a shortage nurses to staff them. And let’s not play like these vaccines are working that great. Sure, majority of the people in the ICU right now are unvaccinated but the vaccine does not keep you from getting covid and it certainly does not keep you from transmitting it.

Am I right to assume that if they do reduce the attendance, that season ticket holders get first dibs? I opted out last year so I don’t know how they did it, but I’m ready to get back to the stadium this season.

Ok dude. If you are dumb enough to think that most if not all of those patients don’t have some sort of underlying issue then you are a moron.

Then it probably would be nice to have all of those ICU tents that were sold after they were NEVER used during last year's dire panic.

If you are uncomfortable or terrified to attend a football game then here is a novel concept....stay home. That is a completely reasonable decision.

However, the rest of us, while FULLY UNDERSTANDING there is a risk we could become ill, would like to go on participating in the joy of life

I honestly will just take the money at this point if they offer a refund. If the game day atmosphere is going to be like last year with masks and no one tailgating, no point in going.

The vaccine does not stop you from getting and spreading the virus.

Now if you would have said people’s decisions to not get the vaccine is the biggest contributor to the ICU bed shortage people may listen to you.

Hmm ok

business they felt it was too risky.

Because of previous, and implied future government action.

This is the unseen side of economics. This is why the "private company" argument falls apart. Government is so big and intrusive, and such a live/die deciding factor for business owners that business will pre-comply with government hints like CDC guidelines etc to save their own arse.

So if you are vaccinated you have a lesser chance of going to the ICU, right? Is that not good?

Kinda comical really since masks don't work....also people who have had covid have stronger antibodies that last longer than the vaccine...yet you NEVER hear the Biden Administration mention that...they are pushing for EVERYONE to get vaccine to pay back big pharma for delaying the vaccine announcement until after the election. Everything is political and no one should believe what either party spews.

Probably should take an economics class....stocks are doing well because Biden Administration printing and distributing money...going into deeper and deeper debt....sooner or later that ends and chickens come home to roost. But...I know I'm wasting my time all you care about is your weekly check and the now.

Sure, but for those that have managed to avoid the virus getting the shot seems like a good move especially for older folks and those at risk.
