LSU will be 3rd behind Texas and Georgia. Which means they of course make the playoff.
Ole Miss at 3 is embarrassingly laughable. They are in for a rude awakening this year. I think they go about 7-5 this year. Welcome to the Pete Golding era.

Can you add ALL - SEC guys by team? Off first glance seems like we’re tied with UGA with 9.
Which if that’s the case, with the coaching we have we should be higher than 5th with the media predictions smh

Hope you are right. But they bring back the best duo at Qb and RB along with an impressive portal class on D. I can see why Ole Miss is picked 3, but we’ll see the Kiffin effect of leaving.

Yes they return the best QB/RB duo but the media acts like losing the majority of the offensive staff and going from Lane to Golding won't be a drop-off. They will never admit it but that Sugar bowl win saved them from Lacey and Trinidad transferring here.

Idk man. Typically teams regress some when they lose their OC, a little more when they lose their HC and a pretty substantial amount when they lose both.
They've downgraded at some of the most important spots in the sport and HC matters more in football, I'd argue, than any other sport. Golding shouldn't remotely be considered in the catagory of Kiffin and John David Baker ain't CWJ.

I'm not sure we finish 3rd that would mean that we likely have a very beaten up SEC this year (which is entirely possible). But I do think we finish 9-3 and likely have shot depending on how we finish. I do however agree that Ole Miss will not likely finish as the 3rd team in the SEC. They have LSU and Georgia at home but visit Texas and OU. On top of going to Florida and Vandy. I don't know that they lose 5 games. I think its more likely they win 8 games but still not going to be anywhere near top 3 in SEC.

I think Vegas has them pretty much nailed this year at 7.5. Ole Miss seems like a team primed for an 8-4 campaign.

This is going to make me sound jealous, but I really do not get the Kewan Lacy hype.
I understand the raw numbers look great, but he had a bunch of short yardage TDs for a high powered offense against a VERY weak schedule.
Against LSU, UGA, UM, and OU, he averaged 80 ypg and 4 pc. Solid numbers, but not "best RB in America" numbers.
He beat up on Arkansas, USCe, UF, MSU (two teams who fired their coach, a third who who should have, and a fourth who fired their DC) and their shitty non conference schedule.
