will no longer be a liability. At worst, the defense will be a net neutral. And may actually surprise and finish ranked in the top half of the SEC defensively.

USC and the SEC may really be fricked

I stated otherwise.

I also had us at ten wins the last two seasons.

I say that we go one better.

11-3.

We make the playoffs at 10-2, going 1-1.

I do hereby solemnly swear: Defense has been so completely terrible, I will allow 1 full season before I judge.

Can I please just have 1 DB turn to look for the ball. Even if its just once this season. One time.... please

Considering our RB only run game will be much better behind the country's best Oline, I don’t think itll be anything to worry about too much over the course of a year with teams having to keep that in check. We also gotta keep in mind that Nuss hasnt played a full game in quite some time so I think he’ll be ready to go once we hit the hard part of schedule. I’m more-so hoping Nuss doesnt throw 2-3 in the opener while knocking the rust off.

tbh: practice reports usually don't mean squat and rarely do practice reports accurately portend the trajectory of the regular season -- you'll often hear coaches call out players as the next big thing in spring or fall camp but then you rarely see those guys become the stars that season

i'll be tickled purple to see any D improvements (positioning and tackling to start) and i think Bo + Baker + other D coaches plus playing against a strong Tiger offense will make a difference and get our D out of last's year hellhole -- but practice reports won't get me hyped

i tip this beer your way for your enthusiasm tho!

THIS x 100

Think i screamed more at the TV last year when LSU whiffed on tackles or couldn't defend a pass than all the amazing plays by Jayden Daniels -- perhaps agony is louder than glory?

Nuss may have 15-20 forced pass interceptions this season.

The only interception I heard about were tipped balls and a duck underthrow he made. I've listened to everything out about camp and not a single person has seemed concerned about offense in any way
