Yep, with a Friday night low of 67. That's nice weather, but not exactly jacket weather.

what is the GFS ? I mean, this isn't even close to anything any other weather outlet is showing.

Too far out still for them to be calling the first cold front of the year. Theyre not taking that chance yet! And I cant believe anyone from SLA wouldnt know what the GFS is

The source data is in the screenshot if you want to keep an eye on it yourself or you can go ask the weather experts in the cold front thread on the OT from a few days back.

Yes,that's a bastion of reasonable and well thought out facts and figures.
Maybe Bigfoot can do the coin toss.

If that's a "cold front" it's still above normal temps

Hell yes! Finally some potential football weather.
And the fishing will be lit after the first cold snap

Actual weather apps are going to simply show the average temp for that date when it’s more than 10 days out
They aren’t actually making a forecast

I’m seeing a high of 87 and a low of 67 next Saturday. Seems plenty warm to me for October

I just heard the first mention of "maybe" a cool front on the local news this morning....it was for like Monday or Tuesday after Utah St.
The GFS has had this cool front in its crosshairs for damn near 3 weeks....when it first showed up it it was supposed to happen last week. So eventually it will come through and the GFS will be right but the question is how many times will it push it back. I certainly wouldn't bank on it this weekend.

At least now there is no cold front in the forecast so maybe that means we'll finally actually get one

Im predicting nice weather for the Florida tailgate though

I see a 10% chance of rain with high of 94 on Sat. Going to be a warm one. Stay hydrated my friends.

That should favor LSU, with the South Louisiana humidity.
Heck, even southern clubs like Auburn and Georgia wither in such conditions. I don't believe Utah State can handle it.

Oh shite....winter is coming.
