Is the pussyiest shite ive read on here in a while. Why? Yall realize if LSU doesnt make a regional they will just be replaced with a team with a worse resume or joke of a schedule or both. Pawl is retiring no matter what, so that cant be the reasoning. Why does their crappy team deserve to get in over mine?
And yall dont understand anything about baseball. Its usually not the best team that wins the championship but the hottest. You can get hot at any time. In 2008 Fresno State won the whole damn thing and they were one of the last teams to get in.

plays in by far the toughest conference in the country, in which they won half their series. Beat an Ole Miss team thats going to host. Has more talent than most of the field. Played the toughest schedule. Playing its best baseball towards the end of the year..........

Alabama sure as hell doesn’t deserve to be in a regional. They haven’t done enough to deserve it. LSU won their head to head and deserve it more than them plus LSU finish the season a lot stronger better than Alabama. The question was whether or not either of these teams belong.
We can make cases both ways. The SEC tournament should not be the determining factor.

Thank you and there are major arguments why there is no way in hell Bama should get in over LSU. If anything the argument should be Bama vs someone else.

95% of the people on this board are emotional morons. The team deserves a regional, maybe by the skin of their teeth but they deserve it nonetheless. They did a good job getting back in contention after that horrid start.

I think it's safe to say any team in a major conference on the bubble has an argument as to why they "don't deserve a regional," which is why they're on the bubble
Let's look at a few
Louisville
28-21 overall
16-16 against ACC, swept in 3 of their final 4 series
UNC
26-25
18-18 in the ACC
Alabama
very similar resume to us, lost to us H2H
Baylor
31-20
11-13 in the Big 12
Lost last two series and 2Q in Big 12 tournament
Let's look at a few

LSU is a fringe tournament team. The reason for that is that they have the talent to beat less talented teams, but not the exceptional fielding, timely hitting, and clutch relief pitching needed to beat teams with equal or greater talent.
This LSU team definitely seems to have inferior relief pitching when compared to what we expect out of LSU teams. LSU’s fielding has been far more error-prone this year than in years past as well. Their early exit from the SEC Tournament, a venue LSU teams have absolutely dominated, even when fielding fringe tournament teams, is extremely concerning. Finally, while LSU’s OOC record is decent, their strength of schedule OOC is pretty mediocre.
Having watched this team all season, it seems abundantly clear to me that they are not capable of a deep post season run. They have not shown anywhere near the consistency on offense or defense to give me any confidence in them being able to win a regional, let alone be competitive in Omaha.
I just really struggle to point to a single thing this team does particularly well.
I hope they get in and prove me wrong, but I haven’t seen anything from them yet this season that gives me any reason to believe that they will.

Most 3 and 4 seeds aren't built to win the NCAAT, which is why they're 3 and 4 seeds. That doesn't also mean they shouldn't be in the tournament at all.
