Why aren't the major streets around TS one way out after games? If Dalrymple, Nicholson, Highland, River Road & a few others were in contra-flow mode it seems the traffic would clear quickly. Then maybe more people would stay around to see the last play.
We stay till the end + hang out 30 minutes or so after games and then sit in traffic for 20-30 minutes to get off campus.

It took me two hours to get to I-10 on Saturday.

That was for Miss State for God's sake

Where do you park? I park in the Ag Lot, and I think the longest it's taken me to get off campus this year was about 20 minutes, and that was after Bama. Stayed to the end for MSU, and after walking back to the car and driving home, I was in Prairieville in less than 45 minutes.

shite! It shouldn't matter where you park. You can damn near SEE the fricking stadium from the interstate.

Absolutely the WORST stadium to drive home from that I have ever been to. Wonder why people leave early? They are trying to get home before 2 or 3 am. Some of us drive quite a ways to see the Tigers play...and don't mind at all. But there HAS to be a better way out.

BTW...I've been to most SEC stadiums over the years. Haven't been to ATM or Missouri...yet.

i have to assume you're joking.

i park in the alex box lot and it took an hour and a half to get from the corner of gourrier onto nicholson after the bama game.

to all who read this: if you are routed southbound on nicholson after the game and you try to turn left anywhere prior to gardere, you're the reason nicholson traffic doesn't move after the games, a-hole. just drive the mile and a quarter to gardere and save yourself at least 30 minutes of standstill traffic frustration.

The gridlock is unacceptable.
It is so bad, it is having an adverse affect on the football program itself.

River Road is one direction going toward the interstate ... we leave that way from Lot K.

And no, the south endzone realized the game was over ... somehow it just takes for freaking ever to get out of that side. The design or something sucks ...

I parked in the lot by the baseball stadium. The damn cops rout everything south and it's a freaking headache.

I think if they built an I-10E on ramp over the lake from Dalrymple, it would do wonders.

Dalrymple IS contra-flowed after games from campus to I-10. Can't get on I-10 to go east there though.
