Dumbest post of the year.

Orgeron, Joe Burrow and team brought LSU more positive national publicity than other group in history.
Greatest Team
Greatest offense
Heisman Trophy
Belitnikof award winner
Record no to NFL

Oh? are you suggesting that Orgeron is responsible for the record cost of Kelly's contract.
Sorry man that is on the Buffoon Woody. You remember the same guy who paid Jimbo that rediculous salary. He must be a democrat the way he loves to spend other folks money.

It’s probably Bobby Jindal an F Alexander for keeping miles at LSU. Les Miles started the spark, Ed Orgeron burned it down. Miles also was the one who allowed all of the Title IX shite to happen and did shite himself..

The current one we are paying 9.5 million a year for. We should have never hired Kelly.

How is the windfall that came from 2019 a financial disaster. In reality 16mill is a bargain for the outcome.

Consider reputational damage as well…

A lot of y’all aren’t going to like hearing this, but Coach O helped LSU’s reputation way more than he hurt it.

Coach O has been redistributing a good chunk of that wealth to small businesses that serve Cole Slaw and fit Blondes in their 30’s/40’s all along the Gulf Coast.

Its a wise use of money at his age. In another ten years it will be too late.

Stay on topic little boy. Who else would be defending that idiot who ran the program down to the point of financial disaster. The topic is about financial disaster. It’s not about one season. It’s about leaving 39 players and burning the shite down when he walked out the door. It’s about whoremongering and letting the programs slip to shite. you can defend all you want those are the facts

Not defending Ed O, I’m not even a fan of his but this is short sided. There are a number of things that led to that, Covid, a stacked roster that moved on to NFL, etc. yes Ed did his part but the dissolution of any program, partnership, business, etc, is a cocktail mired of multiple factors, not one person/thing.

Everyone seems to magically forget that COVID screwed Orgeron’s vision/plan over. Winning the title in ‘19 caused all of those guys who played major roles to sit out: Marshall, Chase, Stingley… They had nothing more to prove and chose NFL money over playing. (I don’t blame them. I would have, too.)

He ended up with less than half of the guys he’d thought he’d have returning. He couldn’t get it turned around from there.
