What is your definition of a cover up? Killing the victims? If you pay someone off, I'd say most would consider that a cover up.

you've got a bunch of guys who assaulted guys in a bar...and MAGICALLY it gets swept under the rug.
And all of you fans wonder why I get pissed off at the school you all cheer for Rummy. It's fricking pathetic. The school you root for has MORE than enough talent to have a productive season without those guys. Hell...at least a game suspension is SOMETHING. But frick...this is just hilarious.

Mett and Ware are not the senior qb and self proclaimed leader of the team who should have been making sure none of these guys were breaking team rules, not going along with them.

Now, if the DA was given an envelope full of dead presidents - covered-up.

So for breaking curfew he should be suspended? That will never happen. He was in a fight big deal. For every time players get into fights with each other at practice should they be suspended? They fight all the time there, leaders and all. Should they also be suspended for showing the players who apparently must have these goddess leaders to know what is right that it is okay to fight?
Leave this leadership shite alone it is the only thread everyone has. Do you really think all of these young men are honestly looking up to these guys? Or are they just getting pumped up when one of them talks in the locker room. These guys aren't setting examples. They all do the same thing regardless of the "leader". Miles is the true leader of the team. He will punish them how he sees fit, and what will truly teach them the lesson. He he feels that not suspending them is the best way then so be it. If you don't like it quit buying tickets.

Easy dude, We dont know what happened and we are innocent untill proven guilty. I know that rarley exzist in the college world but it is your right. If JJ has told Les his side, and Les is OK with it, thats not protecting him, Its standing behind him because he feels that JJ is telling him the truth. I find it hard to believe That JJ tells him, "Yeah coach, I stomped that guy in the head 10 times for no reason" And Les would try and cover it up or ignore it. Would JJ lie? Maybe but the Coach knows him better than we do and if he trusts his word, Then thats good enough for me.
Also, If it were me and you that were in a fight, and I left before the cops arrived, we nor you would go straight to jail. The cops would have to pull up on us fighting and usually if neither one wanted to press charges, 8 times out of 10, We would be let go. I have seen many of bar fights and nothing has ever come of them. A bouncer at on of the bars I worked at got hit in the head with a bat one night. He was named by a few people and it took them a week to "Talk" to him. Nothing ever came of it because the guy questioned said it wasnt him. Eventhough 4 or 5 people named him,( not 20 diferent stories) He said it wasnt him and there was no other video or evidence. Case closed

Innocent until proven guilty? Not if you are not popular with some fans.
I'm not talking about the players or their actions. I'm talking about the posters on here that are advocating this being covered up or at least postponed until after the Oregon game. The same posters called for Oregon to bench Thomas for being a passenger in a car with weed and going 118 on the interstate. If you don't see the hypocrisy, then there is no point continuing this conversation.

Miles probably has a good idea of who was involved in the fight, and who ever that may be probably needs some sort of suspension even if they aren't charged with anything.
