I didn’t expect 15-0, a Heisman winner, the COTY, the records, and all the other accolades that we earned.

I did expect a physical team, competing in every game and playing LSU style football. I expect to see that in 2020.

I don’t expect magical seasons.

It’s like these guys have never followed CFB before.

They haven't lost more than 2 games in 9 years. We have elite talent coming off the bench now. We have ridiculous talent.

Alabama might be in the SEC, but they do not play the schedule we play. That is a key factor.

There is no question that they are loaded, but not playing Florida every year and scheduling the Dukes and Louisvilles ooc helps too.

I said we shouldn't struggle.

Nobody ever said they'd be "ok" with a 9-3 season. We're just expecting a 9-3 or a 10-2 type of season. Nothing wrong with being realistic.

is that why the same teams have the top offenses year after year?

That thin 2018 class will be juniors next year. There’s not a lot of experience left on this roster.

Absolutely. This program should contend for the playoffs every year. The price of success is high turnover with players leaving early and coaches getting opportunities. I trust Coach O will have us ready through what he's done in recruiting and I trust to him to go out find us the right guy to replace Brady. Tigers 11-1 next year with a loss to the Gators on the Road.

I’m done as a fan. Going out on top. 45 years of watching LSU and I couldn’t have scripted a more perfect season in my wildest dreams. It won’t ever get any better than this. I can die happy now

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead say I do not expect a season like this again in my lifetime. Winning every award, breaking offensive records left and right and dominating in every game we played. You are out of your mind if you expect that again next year.

That said, we are LSU and if we want to be an elite player in the college football world we need to be a consistent contender to get into the playoffs. Next year could be rough, but that is why we recruit the best players and hire the best coaches. Elite programs can deal with loss and be competitive. Lets see if we are truly among the elite in college football again.

LSU will put fine RBs on the field. I guess you don't keep up with recruiting but Gilbert is going to make T Moss look like a backup TE...and I thought T Moss was a good TE but Gilbert is faster than Moss. Except for the blown coverage in the OU game how was Moss' YAC? BAD! I assume you are joking about the WR situation so I'll skip that one. LSU played several other OL. The main loss on the field will be Burrow of course. And it is yet to be determined what the loss of Brady will do.

I think honestly winning the west every couple years, and making the CFP every few years is perfectly doable and expected.

Of course not.

I didn't say that.

Did people read this? I am saying that we should expect 10 wins or better every single year. That is too much to ask?

“We just completed arguably the greatest season of all time” and also we shouldn’t lower expectations below that.

People are laughable.

Expectations should always be to compete for the SEC title.

Just as long as people don’t judge future teams to the standard of the 2019 team.

Your inability to read is laughable.

I clearly said the opposite of that. I said we should expect 10 wins every year, not that we should be the best ever every year.

Exactly. If it did, 15-0 wouldn't have happened, as literally 99 percent of us did expect what just happened.
