I was struck early in the press conference with SW his comments about his discussion with his mother. All she was worried about was if he got his money!!
TRASH!!!
If he really loved LSU he would have left for a lot less money!! Is there even a debate about how poorly led/coached this team is by the CEO?? I am embarrassed for him. Of course self awareness has never been his strength!!

I have to say I agree with you.

A little dramatic but I can’t disagree with the reasoning.

I love LSU as much as some of my family members. If they negotiate a deal with me, I'm getting what they owe me.

CBS said that CEO dreamed of being the head coach at LSU from before he could walk!!!! They would never lie. Also, Trindon Holliday was the biggest baby ever born in Louisiana and he was going to play DE but Kramer's mom talked Les out of that plan.

Also this. Ed wanting to get paid isn’t necessarily proof he doesn’t love LSU. But we all know he’s a used car salesman and made his bones shitting on and recruiting against LSU.

Ed was always going to “love” whoever gave him a head coaching paycheck. If USCw had given him the full-time gig, THAT would’ve been his “dream job”.
As others have pointed out, Ed loves LSU so much, he ran home to Mama two weeks into the 1979 Fall camp.

Fair statement…very frustrated with the narrative being continually being pushed and people parrot that crap.
Ed loves Ed. It begins and ends there.

LSU did not pay him one cent more than they were contractually obligated to pay.
It’s not your money
Find something else to whine about and I’ll send you some cheese to go with it

I couldn't possibly agree with you more. The last thing this site needs is differing opinions. We must all think alike and post the same things.

It’s hilarious how many think LSU was his dream job lol.

You’re an idiot if you think anyone (including you) wouldn’t walk away from anything and turn down that kind of payday.
You’d be a lying sack of shite if you say you would.

He is done. Deal with it. What did you think was going to happen?

This is just dumb. If you had a buyout clause in your contract for 17 million, there is a zero percent chance you’d walk away from it out of your love for LSU.

Why is that funny or unbelievable? LSU is a dream job for a whole lot of coaches. It’s a destination job.
