We have to throw our best arms available against Tennessee to win. I would start Coleman and hopefully he can get you 4 innings, then I would follow with Cooper and let him go for a few innings then close with Guidry.

Next game if you somehow pull it off, you go with Blake Money and let him hopefully get you 4. Then Ackenhausen then Herring/Collins. Final game you will pretty much have nothing else. You prob have to start Little and hope he pitches the game of his life and go from there. So LSU prob has about a 3% chance of pulling it off.

and Guidry tomorrow

This. Not sure why so many people think they're going to go to Coleman, who hasn't pitched a single inning in this NCAAT.

They may be forced to go to him at some point, but guys like Cooper, Ack, Guidry will be used up first.

Nope. We play Wake on Wednesday if we win tonight. The original post even specifically asks about throwing Skenes on Wednesday.

That’s not how it works. And even if it was then his normal week would be considered 7 days rest which means 4 would still be much shorter than usual.

But in the way rest days are counted by everyone in baseball, his normal week is 6 days rest and throwing this Wednesday would be 3.

Either Cooper or Coleman get the start. The other will be first out of the pen. Hopefully you can get 6-7 with those 2 guys and let Guidry or Ack get you home.

No, Saturday 9 pm to Wednesday 6 pm is 3 hours short of 4 days. However, I don’t think we see Skenes if we make it to Wednesday.

trying to figure whos gonna pitch tonight and who we may pitch tomorrow and thursday and relying on guys like Money and possibly Little who and who have been horrendous all year shows you just how bad of a position we are in.We are hoping for guys to do something they havent done all year, and to do it in Omaha. Its good to be optimistic but reality needs to set in at some point.

If Money and Little see the mound at all, we are in trouble.
