Question is… if we win tomorrow do they throw Skenes Wednesday on 4 days rest on a pitch count?

Wednesday would be 3 days rest for Skenes. So, no.

If we could beat Tennessee and stela the first game against Wake then throw Skenes the 2nd game it would be amazing

i'm guessing JJ goes with Cooper. I might see if Guidry is over the shell shock.

Skenes isn’t throwing unless we make the title game. I can’t even see us using him Thursday

If we made it Thursday and got rocked early, I could see Skenes going in 2 innings to get the record

Every year someone drops their nuts out of left field. Hoping it's someone on this list. Im looking at Money. Think the big park and his ability to throw strikes. Could be his moment tonight!

Assuming you don’t have a staff like Wake or Tennessee, the key to Omaha is having a really reliable durable arm that is perfectly fine throwing 80-100+ pitches with five or less days rest.

You need someone that can pitch three times in 10 days or whatever it is. Ideally that would be your game one starter then your high end talent comes in, pitches game two, gets full rest and then starts game one of the championship series.

Who cares when it’s the last week of a guy’s last season?

I could see him start Thursday and it be his bull pen work. He would most likely be on a strict pitch count. I don’t see him coming in to get a strikeout record no matter what.

The coaching staff, who actually cares about the guy’s future…

a coach who actually cares about a player's health?

Recruits looking at playing for said coach?

The player himself?

The player's parents?
