Something I'm curious about moving forward is Austins role

I got good money says he will fill in for Pete all year or at least they will apply for the waiver. Best of both worlds.

Would definitely be optimal and we'd still potentially get another coach on top of that with the vote in April.

It is amazing to see how often assistant coaches move around. Heck of a way to raise a family. I have newfound respect for them after reading this.

Think the plan has always been for Jenkins to stay one more year until Bo Davis' show cause ends.

Many on here were saying Canada would have a major influence on both these hires, but both of these options have O written all over this and zero Canada.

Is it possible that Canada could have an influence but the decision is ultimately the head coaches?

Also, Canada may have just wanted the other guys out.

I'd have to agree this is probably the case.

Mickey Joseph's brother Vance just got hired as the Broncos' HC. Good NOLA connection.

It seems as if though he likes his non coaching role. Wonder if more teams go route of a GM and not have a coach be primary recruiting coordinator. Will also be interesting if an NFL team takes notice of him soon.

Man was really hoping for David Johnson at WR, Tommie Robinson at RB. Can we still get that and have Joseph coach ST?

I would say yes. And I would also ask, is it possible that maybe Canada wants these guys?
