Where’s the juggy co-worker we banged it out with in this saga?

If LK isn’t hired I feel pretty confident that all the players involved will bring in the right guy this year. There are honestly a lot of good options out there. We unfortunately just have to trust their process - as much as it fricking sucks - especially after how much we’ve been scorned. We obviously can’t have a shite-turd no-name come in to lead the program. I think they know that much more than we do.

Bored and jumped over to read the OM boards on SECRant. The line that stuck out the most was “this is what happens when you date a whore”. That seems to be the overall sentiment with LK. That group of posters is ready to see him go, a lot of talk about disrespect and how the rubicon has been crossed.

I think any of us with experience in the absolute shite show LSU puts on with coaching searches all know this could be a real thing. All Lane would have to do is come out and say “I did what I had to do to get more money for this football team to create a dynasty - hate me if you want but it worked”. The media would spin it so fast that he’s a genius it’d be sickening.

Matt Bowers posted that reply about “the last month” — all the schools, people, burners, plane trackers, etc.”

And honestly, some of the things he said make me think this whole situation with Lane might’ve been in motion before the Kelly firing.

It almost feels like Lane tried to keep everything locked down as tightly as possible, but a timing slip or someone catching a flight number blew the lid off it. We always hear about him playing “4d chess,” about being a master troll who loves attention and manipulates the media — but this time I don’t think he wanted the spectacle. I think he wanted it quiet and something leaked that he didn’t plan for. And now it’s spiraled into something he didn’t want and maybe even dented his image more than he expected.

Just a thought. Maybe I’m just stoned.
