I really do believe that his health had a lot to do with his mediocrity the past few years

He always made bad decisions coaching decisions. Sometimes the teams were just good enough to overcome it for the most part. (2008, 2009, 2017)

Well, you’re just dead wrong there. Three years ago he was coming off a runner-up in Omaha, and had won 5 SEC tournaments out of 12 attempts.

Pills make life worse too. It's a miserable thing.

Agree with the observation. Pretty obvious he did not want to go out against a coach he played against numerous times when he was at ND. Tough road the next two days.

I hope Mainieri doesn’t end up in rehab. Telling stories and crying like jimmy swaggart and shite.

Especially for that kind of issue. You're normally not getting the run of the mill Lortab or Percocet. That's usually the big boy variety stuff when you're talking about 2 different surgeries that didn't fix the issue.

I’m not sure why people thought that wasn’t the case. Neck pain sucks! It drains the life out of you. You can’t enjoy anything.

I believe he had disc replace which isn’t fusion. Prior to that and fusion, they typically prescribe a drug such as meloxican and send you to PT for stretching exercises which will put off the inevitable - disc replacement and / or fusion.

If you select a fusion and wedges (stints) are installed the pain tends to go away.

I have neck issues and the biggest problems I’ve had has been the inability to sleep. I have a use a flat pillow and could hardly get up in the morning. Neck issues really do stink.
