re: Our wideouts are too talented to let Jayden Daniels continue starting next year

This is the first year he’s had actual coaching. ASU was a shitshow. He has improved throughout the season and you dumbfricks really think we’d even touch the SEC championship with Nuss or Howard?
Has he improved throughout the season? He absolutely hasn’t improved. Look at how he played against FSU and then look at how he played against Arkansas and then against A&M - where is the improvement? He had one great game passing against Florida and that’s it - that’s shown to be the outlier.

Wish MB would have been given an opportunity to play in a game. Think he deserved it.

Are you saying you wouldn’t wanna see what a guy like walker Howard would look with our wideouts ? I’m not saying bench Daniels now obviously he’s gonna finish the year off as qb1 I’m simply talking about next year
The "wanna see what so and so looks like" is an incredibly weak argument. I want to see whoever gives us the best chance of winning. For me that has been Daniels up to this point.
I recognize that I don't have the information (ie: practice, etc.) to make an informed decision on who gives us the best chance next season. If Howard demonstrates to the coaching staff that he gives us the best chance of winning next year, then he absolutely should start. It seems like Daniels was the one who gave us the best chance this year, but that could change over the course of the rest of this year and the offseason.
One thing that gives me pause about Howard is that the last two games Nuss was getting the relief snaps over him. I think there are few enough games left that Howard is not in danger of burning his redshirt, so I'm guessing the coaches feel that Nuss is ahead of him (unless they are doing it to keep Nuss from opting for the portal).

As good as Joe Burrow was he got better and better the more he played. Daniels can improve as he works within this new system.
Daniels is what he is at this point, an elite athlete who is extremely streaky passing and is very turnover cautious.

Our wideouts are good but have been legends in the Rant’s mind this season. They have not done great jobs getting separation.
The most comical thing all this season from the frick boys who want to constantly shite on Daniels has been their screaming on every play:
“OMG!! ALL FIVE WRS WERE WIDE OPEN BY TWENTY YARDS!!!”

The change should not be made simply because Nuss or Howard would be better at pushing the ball upfield. You never really know how a QB is going to perform until he is put on the firing line. If Daniels wants a chance to make the NFL, he has to throw the ball down the field. The NFL is starting to adapt to the athletic QB's that run the ball more. However all of these guys, Jackson, Hurts and Murray all throw the deep ball well.
All of this has to be looked at in the spring, we have so many talented receivers that have been vastly underused this year. I've got to believe that several will transfer if they see the offense looking the same next year as this year.

Agree! Our wideouts are talented, SEC caliber, but have had their share of drops, not much YAC, not much separation, limited catch radius, all of this factors in to the passing game, its not just one guy/QB.
