These are the consequences of the west going all in on global warming

Now we have to depend on fricking russia to help us with refining capacity

Russia will then use that money to fight ukraine

We then give money to ukraine to fight russia

fricking clown world

All true, but...

We'd have been better off actually partnering with Russia post-Cold War and showing some real progress, commitment and solidarity towards one another (US and Russia) and forging a formidable Western Alliance that would never fall to Globalism.

Instead, we threw China enough bones to become a superpower and forged alliances with goat raping nations that want us all dead.

Now, the possibility of any real alliance between Russia and the US is probably bereft of hope, and the globalist agenda will likely prevail over us all until either China or AI exterminates us. Our complacency and lack of foresight coupled with the infiltration of our government at every level by bad actors, will ultimately be our end and there's no way to stop it.

It's not a putin lifeline. It's a Trump lifeline.

This smells like a hal hearted incompetent way to attempt to buy votes by thinking he can drive down the cost of diesel prices that his own actions helped to create.

He just put a target on even more refineries in Russia.

That sounds like a bad conspiracy theory that stands out among a whole bunch of other bad conspiracy theories.

Gonna be awkward when Ukraine blows up another refinery

If that Koch head comedian wannabe dictator did that I think he would turn the world against him pretty quick people are tired of the high diesel prices.

One can try, but the actions suggest this was the motivation. Of course, it's gonna blow up in his face.

that’s less than 2 days of us diesel consumption…sad when that’s considered a victory by the Trumper. Also, pooty poo can’t guarantee a single solitary ton of diesel export right now.

This is a ridiculous argument. Mmost Trump policies are effective but he has mishandled the Ukraine efforts to strike back and survive. Throw in junior’s wedding bribe from an oligarch and you have optics for all to see.

It might be ridiculous but it's true.

Russia was still getting supply to the global market. Their refineries get hit so they pull back. Global supply shrinks, people fighting over less supply now.

Trump now says, sell your diesel to the US at a higher price than what you were getting with the sanctions. Putin says yes.

Ukraine is never going to win the war. Better to negotiate an end, save a lot of young men’s lives.

I don't have a problem with this honestly if it helps the United States

If Ukraine targets more refineries after this it might as well be provoking the United States
