We played against him. Go get A&M's DC. He's looking for a job now.

He had the best defense in the toughest conference this past year...with a terrible offense. I wouldn't be upset if we hired him.

Durkin is a good DC. We could do better, but we could do worse.

He gave up 30+ points to every team with a decent qb that they played. Alabama was the exception with 26 points.

How is he as a recruiter? That to me should be the main question for any DC candidate. We need the next guy to prioritize the Jimmys and Joes.

I’m sure having another coach who killed a player on staff will get the media going.

I would LOVE for A&M to frick up and piss off Elijah Robinson in this process and we grab him immediately for the D-line.

Because of their stellar recruiting class from 2 years ago. Durkin is absolutely nothing special at all.

Truth is, you don’t know.

Tough to discern what was Durkin’s recruiting ability vs Aggie just throwing absurd bags at top tier players

I'll take him in a second! He has a proven record of success as a DC, which is everything we need right now!

And a lot worse. I am curious, who do you think we will get right now that is better than Durkin? I really am not that up on DCs right now.

He has been a recruiter of the year before (2014) but on Rivals so ...

I think he has a reputation as a good recruiter.

He was doing well as Maryland head coach until a player died from dehydration. Lost his job.
