How is he as a recruiter? That to me should be the main question for any DC candidate. We need the next guy to prioritize the Jimmys and Joes.

Prioritize someone who can coach and develop talent... recruiting is a plus but the position coaches can make of for that if the DC isn't a great recruiter.

He gave up 30+ points to every team with a decent qb that they played.

Alabama was the exception with 26 points.
then he didn't give up 30+ points to every team with a decent qb, did he?

also you need a better metric than that. a good offense will help limit defense points.

He's a fantastic DC. Had the best D in the country at Michigan without top 10 recruiting classes.

Durkin was coaching the best defensive players money could buy. Give House that then we can compare. Unlike many here I am not blaming House for our defensive issues.

He had the best defense in the toughest conference this past year...with a terrible offense. I wouldn't be upset if we hired him.

Ensminger had the best offense in the country in 2019. Talent had something to do with it. Give House A&M’s defensive talent and I promise the results would be remarkably different.

No, he’s right. Maybe House should have done more with what he had, but he didn’t have much.

When you have an endless bank to get the best players id hope at minimum you have the best defense in the conference

He had the best front 7. Their secondary has sucked all season.

I'll take him in a second! He has a proven record of success as a DC, which is everything we need right now!

There are many better candidates than him and his couple of good seasons here and there. His defenses have never been consistently great anywhere. He had one really good year at OM and got a promotion because Elko took a head coaching position.

Did he at least give House a reach around?

He didn’t even have the goddamn common courtesy to give him a reach-around.

Im a big fan of D'anton lynn.

He will be looking for a job.

Hopefully bk interviews him.

Was an all big 10 defensive back at Penn st. Played a little In. Coached the secondary for the ravens in 21 and 22.

Just think----- if we had the # 8 defense this year!

How many extra possessions would that have given JD5 and the boys.

The average is 11-12 a game they say,I couldn't find how many Oregon and Washington and LSU had this season, but if we had a defense that got the ball back to JD5 and the boys more I'd like to see the #'s
