Had people in from out of town and was embarrassed when they asked why so many people were leaving in the 4th quarter of a 1 score game against a rival.

In game experience is a shell of its former self. This is coming from someone who has had the same season tickets since 1994 and was in school during the 2011 run.

The admin is taking the fun out of football games.

How do y’all keep making these threads?

It’s the new reality and has been for years.

Less people need to show up for this mediocrity.

I think this is it right here. From the start of the game it was easily the weakest of all the atmospheres for big conference games for the day.

The stadium was over expanded. You have corporate and old fans that hold on to good seats and don’t go or leave early. Tiger stadium should have an 80,000 capacity not 100,000.

This is a multi decade old problem. 20+ years ago the student body started leaving early, then even earlier. As well, the rich folks sitting in those 50 yard line seats their families had forever, were treating the game as a cocktail party; they left at halftime, too, Now those seats have been passed down to younger rich family members with no loyalty to LSU football. Those students, whose collegiate experience revolved around leaving early, are now season ticket holders & all they know is to leave early. Finally, any turned in season tickets were grabbed by TAF & immediately sold to corporate companies. These companies turned around & gave them to clients. Neither the corporations or clients have any loyalty to the game. Much like today's societal problems, this malaise is not fixable.

As if dealing with all that traffic is worth watching this abortion of a football team.

If the game was exciting people would stay.
Mediocre team, late game, less game day experience, and some seats are seats owned by companies that hand out tickets.

It happens with other sports teams also.
I worked security at USC games for years. We always prepared for people to leave starting at half time.

One sports event I remember where people stayed until the end was when LSU played no 1, USC in 1979. That was a great game to watch even if you were not a USC or LSU fan.
It was an exciting game.

I met two guys at the Chimes on their bucket list trip to TS. I felt sorry for them. Not for the result but the complete Stadium Erectile Dysfunction. We lost our wood...

For some reason, it was worse last night than usual. We parked at the Box and, instead of being able to turn right and go to River Road, they had both lanes of Gourrier going toward Nicholson where we had to turn right and head toward Brightside. I live just over two miles from campus and from our parking spot to home took almost two hours. They’ve had different traffic patterns for each home game.
