Our AD is good at his job

The man recognizes and addresses issues. He maintains the narrative. Skip was great and now we have Scott.
Yeah, yeah, bb is screwed. Here’s a little tidbit. We had the most talented teams in the late 80’s and did crap with it. One time in my lifetime to the Final4 where never nervous Pervis put us out. Our bb program is pathetic, as usual. Maybe Scott can fix it for us

That people don’t realize he’s been doing nothing but putting out fire after fire for 3 years here is mind blowing. We are extremely fortunate to have him.

3 years? I did not realize that hump Aleva had been gone so long

How long does it take to undo incompetence? We are witnessing the answer. God knows where we would be if the old administration was still hanging on. SW has brought in competent leaders. I’m not sure how many championships they will produce, but I’m guessing quite a bit and more than a non-SW staff

Did you die in 1982?

Skip was not a great AD. Better than Alleva but that’s not saying much.

Scott was a solid hire. No way we get BK or Kramer’s mom without him. JJ hire was solid and he pulled something out his arse hiring McMahon. I’d give SW an A+.

Victory lap in the bottom of the second inning.

RETARDED RETARDED RETARDED ON ALL ACCOUNTS. Nice troll RETARD.
1986 Final 4.
1987 Elite 8
2006 Final 4
We can say he is decent.
Bob Broadhead was a FAR BETTER AD than this retard we have now and I was one of his biggest supporters when he was hired because I knew he would fire Orgeron.

Bob Broadhead gets my vote for the best LSU AD of all time.
With that said if the CBK and CMM hires work out Woody will elevate his status.

I’m not melting. I called out his troll. He said 1 final 4 and that was the one Ellis beat the tigers in 1986. He failed to mention 2006. That’s how you know it was a troll or a retard that has no clue about basketball. The fact is, Broadhead hired some awesome coaches including Skip Bertman, Sue Gunter, Bill Arnsbarger, Sam Seemes 1987 NC Track which kicked it all off.
Joe Dean could have gone down had it not been for his football hires in Hallman and DiNardo. He did hire Pat Henry and Nick Saban in addition to all those championships Skip won during his tenure.

Lsu is headed in the right direction going forward i truly believe

Yes Skip was. You don’t understand how far we had fallen in terms of money raised, facilities, employee pay when Skip took over. He had to do all the unpopular stuff like TAF seat donations, ticket increases, etc. He drug the Athletic Dept into the race with Florida, Georgia and Bama. You’d be amazed at how little a 20 year employee had been paid when Skip took over. Dean left a total shite show and Skip had to do all the heavy lifting, and at the time, was the only person due to his popularity that had the skins on the wall to get it done. Kudos to Skip.

quote:It amazes me. Our basketball and football programs were a complete mess. Set up for temporary success that would eventually lead to a completely upside down circus hanging on by a thread. It’s a miracle we could even play in that bowl game.
