Some “believable” talking point will emerge from the athletic department that will justify him being retained

1) Team is young at key positions

2) Schedule is historically difficult

3) if they occur, injuries will be blamed

4) ensminger needs time to install offense

he should be, as should Alleva

he does not deserve any type of pass despite the schedule. Put up or shut up

I wish I could say you were wrong, but I don't think you are.

Anyone ever sit there for a sec and remember Ed Orgeron is the head coach of LSU football and become dumbfounded?

I hope I am wrong but I think it is coming

And I think a solid 20% of the fan base will believe the narrative

It's an incredibly mindboggling fact.

I’m guessing:

6 losses or more he’s gone
5 losses is iffy
4 or less and he’s back

Our AD literally only had two choices and didn't even look outside that circle. After he was told no, he caved in like a little bitch and hired someone who wouldn't say no and that he knew.

I mean, that's one of the reasons that it's hard not to talk about. I just don't understand how it happened. How LSU sunk so low after a coach averaged 10 wins over 11 years, then hired an old, worn out, unsuccessful coach. I can't even think of a good comparison.

Maybe a top tier Silicon Valley company like AirBnB hiring a manager of a Starbucks as CEO?

Having the top pick in the draft and going with a punter?
