Was with a few major boosters all said that if they lose 5 or more Alleva is done. O there’s a chance he could stay another year but very very doubtful, depends on how the new AD wants to play it.

This is not an excuse after the HC fired his first OC, who was hand picked by Edward himself, after one year. It just doesn't work that way.

Just fire your OC every year and you’re untouchable

Disagree about 6-6. Honestly, I think he's gone at7-5 too.

I think if one of those four losses is to Alabama I believe he will be done.

Anyone ever sit there for a sec and remember Ed Orgeron is the head coach of LSU football and become dumbfounded?

It feels like one bad nightmare I keep on expecting to wake up from and see good ole Les back on the sidelines.

I teared up when they announced O as the new coach. Seems ridiculous for a grown man to do, but I knew the team I so desperately love was doomed to struggle in mediocrity for half a decade.

Lower the standard.
Probably Safe at 6 - 6 because of excuses from O and Alleva. Will blame it on Miles who will have coached his last game 3 seasons ago by the end of this season.
Might still be safe at 5- 7. Excuses already in progress. LSU cannot afford to pay millions upon millions for former coaches to live an early retirement.
Alleva needs to be fired before Orgeron and should have nothing to do with hiring a new football coach.

So we've gone from "#1 in the West!" to "10 wins, baby!" to "A lot of schools don't even have winning seasons." Welcome to Mediocreville. Here's your second-tier bowl game. Shut up and accept it until another gunslinger come to town.

I agree IF he goes 7-5 or maybe even 6-6 he will not be fired as long as Alleva is AD.

BUT

If Alleva steps down this year like some are speculating, then he will have zero room for error and 6-6 he will be gone.

Anything less he is gone anyway.
