Most on this board will not remember the 1958 national championship team but as I recall, Warren Rabb and Durel Matherne did a fairly good job.

Lol more JL talk

MB is not JL and there are several true freshman starting at qb continuing to improve every week

It’s ridiculous to hone in on one guy who had a bad season under a Lee Miles Team

One plays in the SEC right now

Myles seems to read defenses better than Etling.

What's it matter? This season isn't going anywhere. Get ready for next year

There was a play Brennan missed a read where DJ Chark was walk in TD wide open.

I love Brennan as much as the next guy, but I don't know that there is evidence to support this statement

Playing him now to give him experience for next year. Put him out there in the heat of the Bama game in Tuscaloosa. Let him get his feet wet. If he's a competitor, he'll relish in the opportunity.

I hate to say it, but Guilbleau was right. Danny got hot and O pulled him. Stupid. Keep Danny as the starter and slowly work Brennan in. He shouldnt get in unless necessity. Let Danny keep playing. He is better than Myles right now and has more command of the offense.

The key is to have the back-up QB fully ready to play should something happen. I see what they're doing. Etling sometimes takes some hard hits. Brennan looks like he could finally be the answer ever since the Perrilloux debacle. And it's been a long time coming. That's why there's so much chatter about him.

But I don't think it'll be a 2-QB system. I think it'll be a 75/25 at the most. Just to get the kid comfortable in SEC play should he be needed.

Personally I like the 2 QB with these two we have. I wish we would use DE a little more on the option, I think he runs better than everyone thinks. Brennan needs to play. The key to making it work is getting the other 10 players to do their part--hopefully dumbing down the offense will do this.

That’s just a dumb arse comparison. RP has special packages bc he could run and sling the pill. It gave the defense different looks. There is nothing different that either one of the guys do that will force a defense to put in extra prep.

Golden Rule: When you have two QBs, you do not have one.
Tommy Hodson and Mickey Guidry disagree.

MG would just come in for a couple of series to let TH talk with the QB Coach and look at what the defense was doing.

Worked great, but the OL back then was in another Universe compared to the Grimes Shite Show..........

I actually don’t understand how people don’t understand this. This year is going to be a bit of a lost year anyway, one thing that you can salvage is getting a guy you think can be very successful as much experience in real game situations as possible now.

Yea this is retarded. It’s not a change of pace to swap a passer with another passer.

Unless one passser has a quicker release in passing and will stand in the pocket and take a hit because his back isn't still healing and your OL is going to crap in a hand basket.
