Yep.

And one was the SEC championship game. He was the MVP and that game sent us to the national championship.

Both QBs were extremely talented. It was hard to keep Perrilloux off the field.

I don't see this as the same in anyway. I think in the end you're going to get the same result regardless of who starts this season. The one positive is letting Brennan go ahead and get the reps, groom him and let him take his lumps for next year.
In no way does that mean it's a sign of conceding the season. I think we can still do something with Brennan under center.

Elting isn't very good. He's an average QB, with a weak arm. From time to time he makes a pass that shows ability, but nothing close to the consistenty LSU needs.
I'm all for Brennan taking more of the snaps.

This season is getting worse and worse. I hate it but the LSU job is way too big for O.

So how well did Etling do against Miss St? Brennan do need some reps just to get him some game experience.

Y’all are stupid.. he doesn’t want to throw Brennan to the wolves as a true freshman (does JL ring a bell?)... no need to absolutely kill his development and confidence as a true freshman.. most of y’all think this season is a wash anyway, so I believe this is the right way to do it

LSU Plans to Continue 2-QB System

Disingenuous BS and you know it if you read the article or heard or read what Coach Eaux said in his presser.

The faster we get Brennan SEC ready the better. We aren't going anywhere this year. The lines are too depleated.

This year was coming no matter the HC.

Everyone would be bitching if he wasn't getting snaps and LSU preparing him for the future. My god y'all are just never fricking happy.

I would rather O do exactly what he's doing. You just don't want to throw Brennan in there and let him make a lot of mistakes that will ruin his confidence. I like the 2 QBs. Etling is doing fine, but let Brennan get some meaningful snaps if you can, as he will probably be our starting QB next year, and I'd hate to have to send him out there with no meaningful snaps under his belt next season. This will work itself out by the start of next season, we will all be glad he got some meaningful playing time this year.

Exactly.. Don't spew common sense on this hate fest though. They hate LSU let them hate LSU.

Yep.. I really didn't see this but it is what it is. We are no where near Auburn defense or Georgia and remember Georgia wasn't all that good last year and many people were questioning thier HCing hire as well. Looks very familiar. O does need to kill it in recruiting this year though or this will not get any better and he will be searching for a new job. If he gets the players we need on the LOS this team will improve by miles. GT

Would people seriously want Myles' first meaningful game action be Troy and Syracuse or Florida/Auburn.
