And the shite show begins

I swear this is proven on this board everyday. The ranters here have the shortest memories of the human race. For years they screamed give the back up reps to get him ready for next year. And the new coaches do just that, ranters this is dumb.

Against Chatt DJ Chark is running an intermediate crossing pattern Danny E is eyeing him the hold time, but will not throw (Chark is basically uncovered)he just holds it till he's sacked. Canada sees this comes back to it the very next play, same situation Chark is uncovered same intermediate crossing pattern, ball is high and behind. YES get Brennan ready!!! It you have the game recorded it's in the 4th just before Brennan comes in for Etling.

Brennan looks like he could finally be the answer ever since the Perrilloux debacle.
Mett was more than capable. The defense was just not very good during his time here.

Might as well play him this year because we haven't had QB since Flynn!

This is exactly what you do with the kind of team we have. We did the same thing with Marcus Randall and Jamarcus Russell. Let the older guy start, and the younger guy can read the Defense from the sideline. Not as much pressure.

I think this is a great thing for a number of reasons. Brennan needs the experience but it's better at this point that he doesn't feel it is all on him. Hodson and Guidry weren't all that different and it worked well. McClendon used a 2-QB system after he had a few years derailed because of QB injuries. Also, with the OL playing the way it is, the QBs are going to take a lot of hits. It's good to spread those out and lessen the chance of injury. This is exactly what the coaches should be doing at this point.

If we're pissing away Myles' redshirt year, we aren't going anywhere note worthy as far as team accomplishments this year, get Myles reps, it'll benefit this team next year bigly.

We had Mett the two years, really three

He was great for one

So we’ve had a qb since Flynn

Stupidity abounds! We finally have a coach who is going to give the backup some reps so that in case of injury he will have some experience. Not to mention that he is a true freshman and needs all the experience he can get. Not to mention he is the quarterback of the future and every rep he gets this year will help him and us next year.

Except for the last 11 years, LSU has always had something of a two quarterback tradition. Got all the way back to Tommy Hodson and Mickey Guidry.

I remember a thread over people wetting themselves over Brennan throwing a dump off pass to the RB and hey were like "what an amazing arm"

the sideline route he threw vs Chatt rolling right was a legitimate "holy crap" moment.

kid has a hose, now he needs to learn when and how to use it.
