Looking forward to seeing this beast wreck shite for the next three years. The future is bright.

He’s a very athletic large human being.

I don’t know if that is a complement to Smith or an indictment of the other interior pass rushers. I will say Smith certainly looks different than the other DTs

Likely a little bit of both. Maason is an absolute freak show but Farrell, Logan, and Evans aren't known for being great rushers. Roy and Smith are a cut above for sure.

He may be.

He may be the next Reggie White (and I hope he is).

But I wanna know how Richard Murphy looks and how well JJ is throwing and if anybody can cover Giles and how the D compares to 19's D.

Our coaches say the stupidest stuff in spring.

Bookmarked this!

You will be a King here if Maason Smith ever comes close to being as good as Reggie White!

Call me cynical but I've grown skeptical of O's grand off season proclamations.

All facts. The people down voting must be new fans.

I wonder if he’s a better than and D lineman at any point last season?

I believe he is the lineman that LSU has been needing. Huge but not fat. We had a bunch of belly sagging guys because of the 3-4. I hope O can real in some more guys like this. Shemar Stewart would be another. If we can start getting these types of guys again then we can play with the o lines that the bamas and Ohio state are putting together. I also think once healthy Jackson will be a beast once in weight room. And I really can’t wait to see savion. He’s a beast also. If we continue to get guys like this watch out for this D. We already get guys on the back end. Add a few linebackers and we are set.

From the recent spring practice vids of the d-line, he does look like the best and most explosive of all of them. Joe Evans looks pretty good as well. Them dudes gonna be knocking heads off.

This award should be named after Marquise Hill or Michael Brockers or both.

O is the king of hyperbole. And should the HC give an unproven freshman a swole head?

Yea, after telling us in the spring last yr. that our defense was already better than Aranda's, I take what he says with a grain of salt.

But he isn't as bad as Miles was. Miles would just lie for the sake of lying.

It’s a compliment. We have NFL players throughout the dline depth chart. Evans, Roy, Farrell and Logan are all next level guys. Farrell and Logan will probably just be roster guys in the NFL, but Evans will play and Roy will start.

In this respect he’s worse than Miles. “Giles is uncoverable” and “This D is already better than last year’s” are the two most inaccurate statements I can remember.

Miles just made stuff up. Orgeron just has no clue. Truly remarkable that we had that 2019 season with Orgeron at the helm.
