Well O has yet to show he can field a competent defense without Aranda, so looks like it’s put up or shut up time.

It pretty much is on both sides of the ball. Outside of Raymond this staff is entirely O's hires and the players are all his recruits.

Fair. Orgeron's biggest strength is as a recruiter,

Name a successful HC who has not been a great recruiter?
They don't give away those Dodge Chargers for being great in Band or great medical students.

I'm pretty sure Brady brought much of the offense with him. Who called plays, both.

I think the issue with Ensminger is how well he understood Brady’s offense and why it worked.

Whenever we try and simply stuff (2017 and 2020) the first thinker I go is the motion and presnap shifts. And the motion is there to tell the QB what’s going on in the defense.

He can call it Pelini's offense if he wants to. Whats the big deal. All coaches say shitt. I don't care what he calls it. I would call it the Natty Offense.

I’m not sure who puts out more false propaganda, LSU football of North Korea

LSU football and it’s not even close. The white boot and Tabasco drinking LSU fans in south Louisiana believe every bit of it and worship at the alter of CoachOnlyonewinagainstbama so much that Kim Jong Un is jealous.

I dont understand this thread nor the resentment on how O handled and publicly articulated a unique situation regarding the dynamic between Ensminger and Brady.

He handled it exactly how it was supposed to be handled and him doing so, resulted in a Chip. Any other way, despite one's own preference, has to result in winning a championship or its not. Period.

Saying he was supposed to give more or less credit to one or another is an obtuse and suspiciously narrow-minded way of looking at and at the goal accomplished. Arguably the best collegiate season ever and team. Move on.

Dude Orgeron has said from the very beginning that Joe Brady brought this style of offense to LSU. The designer of the offense. Steve E implemented the plan to build it on location. Get it?

No propaganda, apparently you just simply don’t know how it all works lol.

Joe Brady was brought in to install the spread offense of the NO Saints whivh he did. He did it under the supervision of Ensminger and assisted in the operations in games. Ensminger called the 2 and 3 WR sets and Brady called the empty and bunch plays. Since Brady brought the offense to LSU it is called the Brady offense.

Y’all may not realize this but O was not a fan of Aranda’s scheme. It was not aggressive enough for him and it hurt LSU in DL recruiting.

And that has frick all to do with what?

Doesn’t change the fact that he stuffed his foot in his mouth about last season’s defense looking better than 2019 “at any point.”

But hey, I guess he was just comparing the summer 2020 defense to 2019. Not the 2020 regular season defense so he gets a pass, right?
