I thought it was Ensminger’s offense and Brady was only calling 3rd down plays

Brady designed the offensive system, but Ensminger managed the players.

Amazing that he doesn't understand that without Burrow, Jefferson, Chase and Clyde, it doesn't work the same. Yeah the scheme opened things up but the personnel are what made it work.

The question there would have to be why? What purpose did it serve other than to soothe his own ego because people thought/think more highly of Aranda.

Answer, it served no purpose other than to soothe O’s ego because he felt (correctly) that people thought more of Aranda than him.

And after all was said and done, he was the one that looked like a fool. The LSU defense allowed 492 yards and 35 points per game. Damn near bottom of all of FBS.

Baylor allowed 383 yards and 29 points per game.

But hey, at least they ran a scheme O liked, right.

Did not say that, but if he spits the bit they will start planning his exit.

As I said, either 0 was lying or had no idea about the defense. I guess for some that inspires confidence.

It is not throwing him under the bus at all. That would be falsely blaming someone for something they did not do. O owns 2020 100%. He chose to get divorced and run around like some 30 something playboy AND post photos about it. He shot his mouth off about the defense being awesome then oversaw one of the worse defenses in CFB history. Something is wrong there. People point out his top 5 recruiting classes blah, blah. Well, his recruiting did not help him last year.

As I said, if this team stumbles this year O has a real problem on his hands.

According to a QB that was on the 2019 team and still playing at LSU, Brady called every play.

When we slaughtered Georgia in the SEC Championship, Kirby was asked if he should innovate their offense like LSU did. He said, “We have all of those plays; we just don’t execute them like that.”

The people who DON’T give any credit to Ensminger are the fools. I promise you that a 26 year old, with zero coordination experience, did not do that all by himself. Ensminger had a good offensive system, that had quickly and continuously improved since he took over. Had Brady never shown up, the combination of that continuous improvement and the return of so many players, would have made our offense much better than the fairly good offense of 2018. (Before you throw out zero points against Bama, remember that Burrow was injured in that game). Brady supercharged it.

An intelligent HC would have emptied the bank to keep Brady no matter whose feelings got hurt.
In the same breath, no way was O going to keep the person that would have been his replacement.
Worse case scenario. Now he has the buyout from hell and we will have to wait snd see. Just because The new OC worked with Brady doesn’t in any way mean that he is Brady.

Buuuuuuullshit

He had a trash system that finally looked good against Rice and UCF’s CBs.

We scored 48 points in 12 quarters of SEC football in NOVEMBER of 2018.

7 OTs VS A&M put lipstick on a pig.

The QB didn't throw a TD pass in the month of October.

uh, no. Burrow, a generational talent, had pedestrian numbers in 2018, even with Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, Helaire, and the OL with him.

E's 2018 offense wasn't good, even with all that talent.

Brady's 2019 offense was spectacular, with that same talent.

But go ahead keep spinning it for E.
