Can’t do that seeing as how if he did pitch Skenes today he wouldn’t have been able to go 7 innings. The rain delay would have burned him. I don’t agree with his decision but the circumstances have changed so he can’t be fired for that decision.

Exactly right. If Skenes would've pitched today we probably get 3 or 4 innings from him because of the delay. BTW I didn't like the decision to pitch Skenes in game 1,but we'd probably be in a similar situation. It's probably scoreless going into the bottom of the 3rd.

Dumb post. He’s one of the most valuable players on the team. You’re not taking his bat out of the lineup. He’s also playing hurt and not making excuses.
