I think Bama will make it. And then OSU will jump LSU based on the quality opponents they have remaining.
1 OSU
2 LSU
3 Clemson
4 A1abama
Easy way for the committee to get both teams in but make a rematch less than 50% probability. They could save some face there.
It would also set up a potential ultimate redemption for LSU in a championship game vs b1ma in the super dome which I would be more than ok with

You negakittens sicken me. I hope Bama sneaks in at #4 and we get to crush them on a neutral field. LSU is the better team and will beat again.

Completely disagree with the bolder part. It would be perhaps easier for the team to “get up” for a bama rematch. The whole exercising demons, new powerhouse angle will make it so. Add to that O’s ability to motivate and absolute love for LA and LSU and he will have our players even more ready for round 2 than round one.
Not that I am hoping for a rematch as I’m sick of Alabama backing into the playoffs but if there is a rematch, we will win and win bigger than 5 points.

Penn State beats Ohio State then both win out. 2 Big 10 teams. Oregon wins out. Oklahoma wins out and they may have a much better argument than Bama.

Lol. The quality opponents and big 10 just doesn't compute. Lsu still has games against current #12 and current #4. Penn State, as is all of the big 10 outside of Ohio State, is completely overrated.

IF the 'committee' allows Bama to face LSU again with ZERO quality wins prior to the playoffs, something is rotten in Denmark
I'd lobby for LSU to be ranked #3 or #4 in the playoff rankings - so they'd have to make Bama be #2 or #1 to allow the 'mulligump' effect to take place.
OTHERWISE it is obvious conspiracy - Team with NO quality wins gets to sit out and observe LSU in another killer game against their 5th top ten opponents - get to scheme a game-plan while sitting on their asses resting up and getting healed from the travails of playing big games - get to get another read on our offensive and defensive strategies - get to detect other 'tells' that they can use to scheme trick plays with

I don’t care. LSU is the better team. I work in Georgia and bama. Trust me when I say this, nobody wants to play LSU right now. People who are fans of the schools in those states know that they can’t hang and do not want any of LSU.
