Ed got rid of Matt Canada at after one mediocre year on offense because he knew we were never going to be elite on that side of the ball with him as the play caller.

Not bringing in an established OC to call plays for this team after what Sloan showed last year is just lazy and a lack of awareness on BK’s part.

And I would take Canada over Sloan in a freaking heartbeat.

Neither one is worth a shite. LSU needs a young, innovative coordinator and possibly the same in an HC. BK is in retirement mode, collecting money.

Probably got told he had to keep another shitty hire until they payout some of the millions upon millions of dollars they’re paying Kelly’s other shitty hires to not coach.

Orgeron definitely wasn’t afraid of change.

it’s not laziness it’s his mo to have a younger oc. most coaches don’t want to give up full control over their side of the ball

Has there ever been a successful offense with the constant weird shifts that both Sloan and Canada try to do? It’s hard to watch

Orgeron had the “want” at least until he won a championship. It felt like he would do whatever it took to achieve it, not only for LSU’s sake, but for his own personal desire. That attitude is not evident with Kelly. He is slow making moves, whether it’s about coaches ir players.

Sloan and Davis will be dismissed at the end of the year, I honestly hope they retain the rest of the offensive staff.

Motion is a huge factor, when it done correctly and with a purpose. It makes the defense tip their hand.

THIS.

It can tell the QB a lot about what the defense is doing. The shfiting/motions aren't the problem with this offense.

there is one guy imo that is capable of righting this offensive ship, and that is Joe Brady.
I would tell BK to take 2 million per year of his salary and put it towards whatever JB requires to get him to LSU. Double his present salary if necessary. Promise him the HC job when BK is finally removed.
JB is the only quality OC LSU has had this century and he is clearly better than anyone else in football.
Otherwise, whatever dollars is spent on another OC hopeful is just shooting for a pot luck win.......JB is simply the only OC out there with the ability to right the LSU sinking ship.
Yeah, I know it is a shot in the dark, but sadly it may be the only hope LSU has for the next decade.

A year late to take advantage of the great opportunity and talent we have this year.

Don’t think Brady is leaving the NFL. His ship is coming in soon there. What about Tom Herman?

OP had me, I thought he was gonna state in-game adjustments.
Like make a adjustment based on what other team is doing
or
benching a cold Rb or Qb for a Qtr at least.

Nope we stick to the plan.
