Seems like some of these elite football recruits will make bank in college and stay a year or 2 longer before going to the NFL.

That will come down to the "bird in the hand versus two in the bush" decision.
Most will think they can make more as pro athletes, whether they are really good enough or not.

I'm not surprised because I have a feeling every big program has a guy like him. It sounds like it will come down to $$$ just like most of them do. If we want him, we need to up the offer and hope he bites. If not, he becomes Tiger Bait!

So this guy is taking advantage of an opportunity to make bank while offering players money/scholarships. Am I missing something here because this seems like Capitalism to me?

Matthew’s had committed because of LSU’s recruiting ace Mason smith. Who by all accounts has done a nice job.
Was so firm a few weeks ago he openly talked about recruiting other people to lsu.
Dunno what this guys role is in him decommiting. But he took what seemed to be a firm commit to the good guys & check mated mason smith
