Dislocated shoulder against Texas. Only 388 yards this year.

He had shoulder issues last season. He elected to not have surgery and has gotten it beat up again.

Great….that means the LOOMIS will draft him, and he’ll be injured off and on his entire Saints career

Glad we didn’t spend money on him even though he had already agreed to stay at Ole Miss.

Watching OM the other night, I was thinking about the scenario that didn't come to pass, that is what happens if Chambliss and Lacy following the staff here.

I think Chambliss would have been a massive upgrade over Sam in the offseason and early going as the learning curve wouldn't have been there, and his health would have allowed more offseason work with the receivers.

But if Lacy comes, then Dilin Jones doesn't. And assuming Lacy would have been as injury prone here as he is at OM this year, our running game would definitely be worse off, as well as pass protection for the QB

So that's my long winded way of saying it's all about a wash probably, other than the fact that if we had Trinidad we don't lose the OM game so that would be one huge benefit.

Should have come to LSU. He would have been on a better strength and conditioning program and not gotten injured so much.

Oh well, live and learn!

Without Lacy, OM offense is really 1 dimensional. Chambliss is great, but that's tough to overcome.

Why is this on rant? Why do we care tbh? I'd rather have Jones than this guy. Jones is way better than his numbers show. His line is not that good in front of him. I would say Jones produces more than what's in front of him on most runs. He's a mediocre OL's best friend with his patience, power, and vision.

It was not a I want him over Jones post. It was an informational post only. If you didn’t care why did you reply?

Honestly as low profile as jones was we probably could have had a jones/lacy combo and that would keep lacy fresh and guarantee natty

To be fair, they were going to lose big anyway.
