Let's hope that's the case. I really want them to move on from Kiffin and go back to being irrelevant lol.

Folks want to move on from Kelly - I get it. But folks who keep pimping Kiffin, fine keep pimping him - like I said it's been 20 years, he is who he is but have at it. Just don't pimp him LSU's way - that's my opinion.

Other and better options if and when.

BK has a winning record all time against Kiffin, and I'm definitely not in the get rid of BK camp either. I'm fine that we got him.

I do think Kiffin would have been an interesting hire back in '21 and would like to know what he could have accomplished here in an alternate universe.

Touche' - I have no such interest and am glad we did not - but that's the nature of forums like this - we can opine all we wish.

This is where I hope Kelly really focuses on both sides of the ball. It all starts in the trenches. If you can dictate terms at the line of scrimmage, it helps everyone.

I wonder if he knows that. He is kinda new to the game.

I’m not sure why Kiffin can’t find his Blake Baker to pair with his offense.

Ole Miss was #17 in total defense, #2 in rushing defense and #1 in sacks this past season. Hey, Bill Belichick is available.

That got them closer to the playoffs than LSU.

Yes it did. Kept them in the conversation and made them relevant. At least that's a step in the right direction.

And yet
Them
SCe
Mizzou
TAMU
All finished behind LSU in the conference.

The USC loss is what was the difference. LSU easily could have had 1 loss or 6. Their room for error was razor thin considering the depth and new defensive coordinator

I wouldn’t say he has addressed the D-Line since he’s gotten here. Been a long time since we were dominant there.

Offensive line got bullied this year in run blocking. We shall see.

So are you against Brian Kelly's strategy of being aggressive in the portal this offseason?

Remember this fraud of a coach and his taking receipts comment when LSU has at least 3 losses, probably 4 at the end of next season. Brian Kelly Is nothing more than an old time revival preacher that’s constantly moving around.

What’d that get them last year?

I guess it got them as a bubble playoff team that ended up on the outside looking in.

Where are we ranked again?

You need talent everywhere. When we won in 2019 we had
Delpit, Fulton, Stingley, Flott and Ward in the secondary, and we had Chase, Jetts and Marshall at WR. Compare that to the last two years. Yuk!

You know what, USC sucked just like LSU. If LSU can’t beat teams like USC they won’t be in the playoffs.

You for sure have to have talent all around. But the offensive line and the defensive line are the only spots where they actually help the other skill positions on the field.

Corners don't have to cover as long, linebackers are able to play more freely, quarterback has more time, running back has lanes to run, etc.

Aren't we going to be aggressive in the portal this year?
