I would like to see A&M, Alabama, and Ole miss. I am only partial to A&M because I now live amongst these homo's in south Texas and would like nothing more then to beat them every year.
I just think the battle of the boot has played out, only reason I didn't go with Arky.

I would hate to lose both Auburn and Florida. I wish they would do 4x permanents.

I was coming here to argue that surely there must be other SEC teams besides us, OU, Arky, and Mizzou that are available the last week of the season, but there are not.
I don't want to force a rivalry with OU. So, my solution is to get Tulane back for a rivalry game the last week of the season. For every 2 games at Tiger Stadium, play one at the Superdome. Then, make OU get Bedlam back up and running. Then, we both aren't forced into this. It feels awful that we will be forced to play them yearly when we have a history of 4 total games with them.

Bama already has their in-state rival and a tough (for now) Tennessee. Is everyone thinking that they're trying to avoid loading any one team up with three tough opponents as permanent rivals?
If so, I don't agree because team strength comes and goes. Power flows and ebbs throughout the conference. Personally, I'd rather keep the two actual rivals we've always had in Bama and Ole Piss, with a third being 8&4 or Arkansas.

Permanent opponents is so dumb.
The SEC said the “permanent opponents” will be arbitrarily evaluated every so often and will be changed.
If thats the case, just play 9 conference games with no permanent opponents. You’ll still play your rivals 2/3 years

Texas’ rivalry game is OK not A&M. That leaves us with A&M. Honestly I prefer A&M or Arkansas. LSU doesn’t have a one built in rival. We have several second tier rivalries and that’s ok imo.

No. LSU would have more championships literally if Bama didn't have officials and pollsters favor them. I won't say outright cheating, but Bama has at least 3 instances I can remember in the past 15 years where they were gifted a game against LSU.

I feel like I'm the only one who wants to keep Arkansas and return to Friday after Thanksgiving. I loved that, plus it got the LSU game out of the way so I could watch the other rivalry games.
