I don’t know why anyone would have a problem with this.

This. Take off the purple and gold glasses.

Players should be held accountable for contracts they sign.

Morons. This is funny because it just hurts them more than it helps. If anything, it works against them in recruiting. Why would you not just go behind the scenes and ask talk to LSU about this? No, they have to make it public to try to make the players look bad like it's some kind of statement on contract breaches.

They may be right in this case, but it's not a good look for them at how they're doing it. Why would you not just go to LSU and see if you can resolve it through them? Absolutely petty and it's not the idea behind the breach, it's how they're doing this that's the problem. Trying to make Lane, LSU, and the players look bad. That's all it's about.

Yes, that's not the issue here. They're only doing this public to try to dunk on LSU and their players. That's it. Do you realize there's players that left LSU as well as came to LSU who were still getting paid? Did you see them make public announcements on this. No, they resolved it behind the scenes and in some cases, let it fly. There's a huge difference here if you can't see what Ole Miss is doing. It's pathetic.

I think they actually went through LSU. If they have the documentation, this will be a pretty interesting case to watch

I don't know what their legal situation is on those players so I'm not going to comment on that part. I have no idea who's in the right or wrong here. I just think this is petty especially them trying to make it another PR story on LSU. For all we know, those players are in the right and Ole Miss just wants us to look bad.

Are they suing to get money back? If so I guess that understandable.

If it’s for eligibility reasons its laughable and a waste of everyone’s time.

God I hope there is ZERO mercy for their asses if we get up big in Oxford. I want to crush their cry baby asses Into hell. If LSU would do this I’d be so damn embarrassed. What a bunch of crybabies Jesus Christ

I find it hard to believe that they got a huge chunk in those first two weeks between signing and then entering the transfer portal. If so that's pretty dumb on any schools part, why wouldn't it be spread out?

That said, if they made an agreement for penalties if they leave early they should honor that, but this seems an unnecessary pr way to handle it to make OM look good/LSU look bad. Even though as LSU stated they're not party to the contact so obviously can't be obligated to pay it

So they wait 4 months after LSU denied payment to file suit?

Trying to add distraction before the season starts I assume.
