Here we go. Need to push a run across right here. Chris Legend needs a rekindling of his nickname.

Bringing Hess back out or is it Fontenot time?

honestly may depend on what we do this inning, we score a couple I may leave Hess out there

LSU legit hit 350 home runs in those two years combined. How many years would you have to combine these years to accumulate that many?

6 or 7 years.

Every time Josh Smith does something, I recall him getting perhaps injured in an early game and Paul saying he saw their season flash before his eyes,

Frick let Hess roll—he’s a starter after all. Plus he’s in straight psycho-mode

There’s zero chance I’d put Hess back out there

Hess is not a starter. He’s an incredible reliever.

I'd roll with Fontenot. He's been the guy all year. Let him finish it out.

Gotta go with Fontenot. Hess gave his all and I honestly wasn’t sold on him pitching the 8th. He pitches off of emotion, and he’s got to be drained now. He’s done his job.

Yeah. Fontenot is the closer. His entire job is to finish off games exactly like this one. If we have 7 runs on them, then you maybe let Hess finish.

100% Hess as a reliever is better than 65% Hess as a starter. Dude just doesn't get pumped like he does out of the Pen

So did the first base ump joke around with Smith about the balk no-call?

I'm a little torn. Fontenot flirted with death last weekend
