Just when you think that school can’t look any worse and act more like tools, they pull this shite. They are runts for a reason. They will always be.

It doesn’t matter if they sue or not, they still look ridiculously petty. You know everyone that reads except Ole Miss fans will find this utterly hilarious.
The cat is out of the bag no matter how this goes. I believe LSU & CLK get a few upvotes.
And what about;
Golding texting LB from Clemson in class- this AD Carter has become Lane’s jilted btch.

It's perfectly fine to seek your money in a contract obligation. I don't have issue with that. My issue with this is them making a public statement to try to make LSU look bad. The payout is peanuts why would you not just ask LSU to pay it for them other than to try to embarrass LSU? Ole Miss fans should be embarrassed at that institution at how they're handling things. Just get over it, your ex wants nothing to do with you.

Are those buyouts legally enforceable?

Practically every other condition relating to actually compelling players to attend and play for the school they signed with has been shot down

To be “little brother” and irrelevant to us sure doesn’t reconcile with the length of threads about UM.

Trying to sue a college kid for a buyout isn’t the right play.

Calling them "college kids" doesn't feel genuine anymore. They are amateur athletes and professional mercenaries.

Ole Miss acting like losing Lane Kiffin and hiring Pete Golding was a great move. They don’t realize they are back to being irrelevant.

It’s funny they’re acting like petty little bitches towards Harper and Umanmielen while also acting like Golding getting a kid who had already enrolled and was in classes at Clemson to drop out and transfer is perfectly fine, nor harm no foul.

No, they very much know that is the likely outcome. They are just hoping against hope it won’t be. Perhaps not this season. But soon.

It will be like when Harbaugh left Michigan and they promoted the OC. Eventually it will fall. Poor Pete. They are going to entrap him into some affair with a staffer or convince him to jerk off while on the phone with the rape counselor so they don’t have to pay his buyout in three years

Yessir Old Mississippi Burning is still stewing in grief. I think of all those pompous, cocky a_sholes I used to know and can’t help but think they got exactly what they deserved.

This should play well on the recruiting trail. Whatever they hope to recoup will cost them 10x down the road.
