I agree, Graychef. Arrambide moves the mitt too far and dramatically when trying to frame the pitches. It looks like he does it for every pitch on the outside corner and moves it to the middle. The ump knows he’s framing and sometimes it makes the ump call it a ball. I mean if the catcher has to move it that far, thrn it must be outside.
I think we’d get more called strikes on the corner if he’d just hold the glove there. Or if he does have to move it, make it subtle, and not all the way to the middle.
