There's nothing wrong with going to the portal to fill the gaps, CJJ has done this in the past with great success. The biggest difference from this team and the ones in the past...excluding '24 is there was always a LEADER on the team. And that person was someone that has been on the team from the get-go, starting as a sophomore or freshman. This season is devoid of a leader of the team who carries the energy of the team. That was one of the issues with the '24 team. Next year will be a repeat of /24 and this year, unless someone fills that role now.

When you were watching the games and giving us a play by play in the fall, were there any situations where you saw Yorke swinging at bad pitches to try to bring in a run? Just curious.
