LSU played like garbage, but give the QB from Miss St his due. That dude is a good player and they have a solid team.

I'm very much looking forward to watching that QB shred a bunch of other good teams.

I predict he will be a first round pick in next years draft. Watch. Dude can play.

They should still be pissed because we won the Natty with their guy.

If anyone thought this year was going to be anything more than a practice year for the next two years, they deserve the disappointment they are feeling. You don’t lose as many starters as LSU did and still think you can realistically compete for a championship the following year.

Dont have to go back too far to 38-24.. you know.. when LSU beat OSU in the natty.. Anyone who calls LSU a one hit wonder is an idiot.

If ANYBODY should know that LSU is not a “one-hit wonder” it should be OSU... given the tea-bagging they got from LSU for the 2007 NC game.

One hit wonder? 3 n.c since 03. Played in 4 since then. Outside of bama, who’s done more?

3 national titles in the last 17 years. A lot better than most programs.

I just got a message from an old college buddy calling y'all "Lose-iana State." (He's reading this thread.)

I wrote back and said that maybe *we* should be called Pollyanna State, seeing as though everyone acts like we're already notional champions!

How many teams, except Alabama, have won or played in FOUR National Championship games since the turn of the century?

So anytime a national champ doesn’t repeat, they are one hit wonders? When did that become a thing?

That's good, they need something to celebrate. We did stink the place up, but at least we have "one-hit". Ryan Day hasn't proven anything yet as he is 0-1 in the CFP. Oh, and how did the one-hit wonders do against Sunshine and Dabo? A lot better The OSU!

I’ve lived in Ohio for most of my life, though I can’t stand the Buckeyes for a second. However, not a single one of my friends have ever said anything about LSU being a one hit wonder. That’s downright stupid. With that being said, don’t think for a second that you’ll find any mutual respect from the a lot of posters on this forum, as I’m sure you’ve already noticed. There are some good, decent, honest people here who I enjoy reading their posts a lot. It’s why I still visit, but rarely say anything.

However, this board is FILLED with ignorant, whiny arse people that obviously can’t see you personally were trying to pay LSU a compliment. 2/3s of the posts on here since the loss yesterday have been hysterical rants that make little to no sense. You can find some high quality posts on here for sure, but you have to be patient enough to weed through the complete and utter trash from some of the most clueless members of our fan base. Every fan base has their shitty element, and this forum is where you’ll find many of ours. And for all the shite I’m getting ready to catch for calling these people out, I don’t give a damn in the slightest! It will give me something to laugh about the rest of the night! The knowledgeable posters on this board will recognize this as truth, but most of the comments that follow will be from those amazingly clueless people!

Too many OSU fans right now are smirking and making fun of LSU, calling you "one-hit wonders," etc.

Pretty dumb for a bunch of reason.

- We beat the team that beat them. We could stop there, that's enough
- we have the 2nd most titles in the past couple of decades
- In that time, we have 3 titles with 3 different coaches, basically the opposite of 1 hit wonder
- LSU completely dominated them in one of those title games
- They would trade places with last seasons LSU in a heartbeat so they could be the best team of all time and not the team no one will remember and have already forgotten
