Yep - we done

Even if they sign the 9th rounder and Ras for full slot, the Brewers can still offer Turang close to 3.9 million.

Turang watch is probably dead unless something crazy happens.

Just gotta hope he is firm on the rumored 4.5mil. If not then it’s been fun.

Looks like it’s over. Doesn’t change the fact that we still landed the #1 class in the country

I've seen your comment repeated several times on this board but I've yet to see a link to a recruiting ratings website that says it.

I didn’t realize it was my job to use google for you.

We’re #2 behind Vandy, with Vandy’s losses to the mlb we go to #1.

You’re welcome.

How is Tennessee baseball doing work like that?

Thanks but I saw that site a week or so ago and it shows LSU #2 in spite of your conjecture.

So, as I said earlier, I've yet to see a recruiting website that says LSU's class is #1.

Sorry I hurt your feelings.

I think Tennessee has one of the highest COA stipends in the country.

Brice may decide to sign for slot.

But why do we assume the Brewers value him at whatever the rules allow them to pay him?

I don’t know what the status of Cabell is, but he could be a wildcard if they try to sign him. My guess is he really wants to go pro seeing that LSU released him from his commitment.

The Cabell situation is odd. If it were just a matter of expecting him to sign there would be no need to release him. If college wasn’t a threat he wouldn’t have dropped as far as he did. There’s something else to it, and chances are Turang signs above slot while Cabell plays for another school for two years.

The Cabell situation blows my mind. I was really looking forward to watching that kid play here. I'm assuming he'll go the JUCO route

Their head coach is the guy that recruited the players that took TCU to 4 CWS appearances. And recruited the current Arkansas team.

I’m completely ok with this. Never expected to get him I just didn’t want to lose him and see Gray go to college. Great job by the brewers and by all agents involved.
