@SmartestMoran: Paul Mainieri on catchers: Scivicque will catch 2/3 of time to start w/ Papierski starting 1/3. Maybe 50/50. Chinea "everyday" at DH/1B.

Looks like Adam nailed the Catcher position. Appears 1B is a little more foggy which makes me :|

What's with the infatuation with KRob? I know he's solid on base guy and a good defender, but his bat wasn't all that great last year. Has it improved a lot?

Fair enough, but I feel like he could be replaceable if he doesn't see an improvement as far as hitting is concerned. Stevenson improved though, no reason he can't.

Robertson's bat has improved immensely since the first time he faced collegiate pitching.

You underestimate the importance our defense will have this year and he might be our best infielder.

Yeah, not only should he improve hitting-wise, but he usually has a nice approach at the plate and is patient. Something very valuable IMO

This would be good to see. I think he's poised to have a great season. He seems to be somewhat of a leader too, from what I've seen and heard. Last year he was under Bregman's wing, but he appears to have come into his own. He's come a long way from telling the entire locker room that he'd made a mistake coming to LSU and that he was leaving.

Robertson has the ability, he was just a little over matched last year and probably wasn't quite ready for the role he had to play. He certainly wasn't the first freshman to fit that description and won't be the last.

18 year olds can be emotional at times and say things they shouldn't. Comes out differently at different times. See AC pre game 1. I'm expecting big things from Kramer.

He definitely seems to have matured as a player. You can see it at the plate and in his defense. It's like he's got better control of his body.

Robertson had a higher OBP than Connor Hale

Hale hit .306
Roberston hit .200

Even if Robertson improves to say, .250, he'll be an asset in our lineup because he knows how to work the count, and isnt afraid to get hit by a pitch.

Freshman usually are overmatched. Give him a year, i like the way he plays.

What if you subtract getting on by fielder's choice?

Well, since fielder's choice isn't included in the stat, I would imagine it would remain true
