You don't think BRPD has any racist officers? You don't think the LSU fanbase has any racist fans?

Are you only talking about white racists or are we counting the racists from other races too?

The body camera footage can either clear the officers of wrongdoing or prove they violated Koy like he said. The police have clearly gotten the bad press compared to Koy’s press coverage.

I always include racists from other races.

have refused to release body camera footage related to the incident.

This could be to the benefit of the citizen in the video.

Absolutely, on both sides of the fence. I have been called a racist just last week because I said that Max Johnson should get the start to see how he could do. I wanted a chance to see him play against a college team that wasn't at the end of the game. But I wanted to see the white quarterback so it made me a racist.

You are such a racist for wanting to see our other freshman Qb start to see how he would do in that situation Wow have you always been a racist?
Seriously I am so tired of this crap. 95% of the country is not racist. And I would say there are racists of all races and of an equal amount. I know blacks that hate whites and the opposite. Just blows me away

I don't think that was implied. It's dumb of you to assume that.

Wanting to see Max Johnson play is not racist in and of itself. I had no problem with him being given a change and the start. Made sense to me. ANd he played well, however the response to his first start is much different than the response to TJ Finley's first start.

You can't argue that there were no LSU fans who wanted Max to start because he is white or don't want TJ to start because he is black (semjackass -BRAVEHEART Krewe). Did you notice the public lynching of TJ Finley on here Saturday? Do you honestly believe there was no racism involved in that?

Maybe in a world full of people with objective and rational thought. Unfortunately, we don't live in a world like that. The only way the officers will be "cleared" in the court of public opinion is if they didn't stop and engage Koy at all. If they did engage Koy in any way, even if it was a simple conversation, they'd probably be blasted for "racially profiling" him, even if there is no evidence of that.

People who make blanket statements like this are often the biggest racists.

With The police chief they have and Broome in charge? They would have been put in the stocks on front of the capital steps...

pretty sure the BRPD Chief over reacted to the officers using some profanity towards Moore

but Moore saying they unzipped his pants when he was wearing sweats was a strategic mistake

I think everyone just wants this matter to go away

So you honestly believe racism is not a problem in America? And you believe only 5% of America is racist? So, honest question. Where do you believe all of the racists went? You obviously must believe African Americans are faking and lying when they say they experience racism. And the many videos of racist incidents populating the internet has to all be fake, right? And the many racist organizations are not really racist? Did you know 60+% of white Louisianans voted for KKK Grand Dragon David Duke when he ran for governor?

Maybe you should state what you believe racism is. Is it believing one's own race is superior to another race? Is it believing another whole race is lazy, unintelligent, shiftless, criminal, or without morals? Is it minimizing the existence of racism and its effect on others?

So it’s OK to paint us all with a broad brush?

Sure, but that wasn't my point. My point was that people will look at the same video and stick to whatever they want to believe, regardless of what the video shows.

I don't have to look further than this thread to prove my point. You have one jackass saying, "Well yeah, but BRPD has racist officers." You think anything provided on that video will convince him that it wasn't racism? And even if it proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt, it will just change to, "well the other ones are racist."

Compared to most places in the world? Nope.

Nope, happens and has happened plenty. The instances we see in the media ,however, sometimes end up false or grossly misrepresented... kind of like Koy Moore’s seems to be.

quote:

videos of racist incidents populating the internet has to be fake right

Plenty of real ones with racist incidents happening to black and white people... they can’t all be fake.

Do you ever get tired of posting about race all of the time?

That is complete and total bullshite. The majority of threads were saying that Finley should start even if Brennan returned. A large portion of the rant was convinced we had our starter, in Finley, for three years. Of course, you will ignore that.

And take a look around if Max has a bad start Saturday, but you'll ignore that too.

You see what you want to see. You see one racist thing and pin it on the majority of Americans. YOU are the problem.

Did you know that David Duke was a Democrat UNTIL he disavowed his anti-Semitic and white supremacist beliefs at which point he then became a Republican?
